Natalie and I took a much-needed weeklong vacation to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, last week. We stayed at the Excellence El Carmen, located north of Punta Cana, and honestly didn’t leave the resort. It was heavenly waking up to the 80-degree weather and sunny skies, and we lounged by the beach daily. Natalie attended some offered classes, including pool spinning and aerial yoga, and I enjoyed a cocktail while watching!
We made it home without incident and are already back at work for the next several months. We are planning another getaway to Mexico soon and are already looking forward to then! Until then, we will do our best to live in our subzero environment and try to keep some warmth and sunshine in our dreams.
