Thanksgiving Day was very low-key for us this year. I was on call and my kids weren’t around on Thanksgiving Day, but I was able to see Luke, Noah and Emily, and her husband David out at a local pub the night before.
Natalie and her kids enjoyed a day at home lounging around and Natalie prepared an excellent meal for the few of us still home.
We took Willow for a walk down by the YMCA located a block from our home in the morning and were met by a crowd of at least 2000 people getting ready to do Doug Opel’s 46th annual Run For The Kids there.

Originally sponsored by a local pediatrician, Doug Opel back in 1976, this run has become an annual event in Sheboygan raising a cumulative $725,000 for children over the years.
As we watched, we saw some friends participating and decided to join in for the fun.

Below is a quick video I made since it was a slow day and I had some time.
