Natalie and I spent an extended weekend in Vegas and had fun visiting Allegiant Stadium for the Raiders vs Colts game. The Raiders lost, but the atmosphere was entertaining to experience as the Raiders traditions are very different than what we’re used to while at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.

We peddled as fast as we could in the mornings at Soul Cycle, conveniently located at our hotel, had a coffee afterward, and went on walking adventures up and down the strip the rest of the day. We also went to a show every night. Our favorite was Absinthe located in the tent outside Caesar’s Palace.

Natalie had fun in front of the slots and I played craps when the tables weren’t $50 minimum bets. I did try my luck at the $50 table once only to lose about $800 in 45 seconds or so. I quickly removed myself and won it all back at a cheaper (and more comfortable for me) table with $15 minimum bets.

It was a great time, but four evenings there is more than enough for us and we traveled home on Wednesday to start our abridged work week on Thursday morning.

I didn’t spend a lot of time behind the camera this time and only had my phone with me so not too many pictures. Feel free to click the link below for a few pics of the weekend.
