This last weekend Natalie and I along with another couple brought Take Five from Sturgeon Bay, WI to Sheboygan in preparation for the Fourth of July weekend. We were looking for some opportunity to spend a little more time on her and also it’s a great time of the year to be in the Sheboygan river with all the festivities that are taking place. On July 3rd, the annual Venetian Boat parade happens in the river and we have decided to be spectators and not participants this year. We plan to host about 50 people for the event.

The weather for the trip down was still a little bit chilly, but we had a great time on the water nonetheless. We departed on Saturday morning and made port in Manitowoc, WI the first afternoon where we stumbled upon a street party that kept us entertained the rest of the day. We then departed for Sheboygan on Sunday where Take Five is tied up in the river being prepared for the upcoming celebrations! Matt and Cyndi were the perfect crew for us as we can always use the extra hands docking and she has even been helping out with some great cleaning projects in preparation for the weekend.

Spent the evening in Manitowoc, WI.
