Made it down to Sheboygan from Sturgeon Bay with only some minor issues that were easily solved on the way. GPS is no longer functional and I am reminded that despite the fact I had completely “new” electronics installed over 10 years ago, they are already very outdated. I am going to try and survive without GPS and navigate on compass alone for this season. I don’t plan any big trips and most of the time I plan to have land in sight while cruising so it really shouldn’t be a problem. Unfortunately, an electronics upgrade is probably due for this winter.
The interior of the boat looks amazing now and I don’t have many pictures to share. All new flooring throughout, new under counter refrigerator and freezer in the galley, new dishwasher and new carpeting on the aft deck are much needed changes. Also all the hardwood in the aft deck was re-varnished and the entire dingy was completely disassembled and re-varnished to like-new condition!
