RAGBRAI XLIX – (Saturday, July 30th) We finished on Saturday! 462 miles! We had no internet access in West Union and couldn’t provide updates. Our cell access was also challenging in rural northeast Iowa. Just by chance, the route took us within feet of my mother’s burial site in Waukon and I was able to stop there for a while. Next year will be the 50th year of the ride and we are already planning in hopes we’re able to get the time off to do it. Until then….. “Biker Off!”
