We have the fortunate opportuniy to join our friends at their condo on Palm Island, Florida. It is located on secluded island north of Boca Grande and the only access is via a car ferry, hence there are very few people on the island. We have had wonderful weather, food and conversation the entire time! Today the high is going to be 84. This is quite a change from the 38 degree high expected back home in Kiel.

The surprising response I received from my sister and brother-in-law after sending them a nice text message and picture of my wonderful surroundings on my cell phone while at the pool side. I mentioned the nice warm weather we were experiencing and simply inquired about their weather…… must not be quite as nice there…..
