The Venetian Boat Parade was a huge success with Take Five receiving an honorable mention. Unfortunately, we didn’t realize that the judges like the entrees to have a defined “theme”. Despite our implicit theme of “Celebrate America on Independence Day!” they decided to go with a Prince Tribute and a boat decorated in purple lights. Purple Rain! Purple Rain!!!!
We had a great time, nonetheless, and I truly believe Take Five was the crowd favorite! Yesterday I spent the entire day with take down and still have another half day left to get everything cleaned up. I honestly think I will leave some of the lights up for awhile just because… We also had a picture in The Sheboygan Press! Check out the video at the bottom of this page!!!!!
