After our move from our country home a little over a year ago, I was concerned that I may have made a hurried mistake as I absolutely love country living. We decided that living in the city would be better for the kids and easier for our work commutes. We also enjoy the social life evenings out in nearby restaurants and bars. Living near downtown and within a 1-minute walk to Lake Michigan really has opened up a lot of opportunities for us. I recently joined the Sheboygan Yacht Club which is within walking distance and we enjoy meeting new people all the time. Below is a representation of the beautiful waterfront in which we live.

As you can see, The Army Corps of Engineers has recently started the $51.3 million repair of Sheboygan’s 147-year-old South Pier due to be completed by the end of summer next year.
