Natalie and her girls were planning a “girl’s getaway” trip to Milwaukee on Thursday evening. Originally, the plan was that Natalie and her girls would be joined by Natalie’s good friend Stephanie, and her daughter for a 6:30 PM Milwaukee Bucks game against the Boston Celtics; the last regular season home game in Milwaukee.
I learned on Wednesday that Stephanie was sadly unable to go due to work constraints and they had an extra ticket available for someone to join Natalie and the three girls. While, I’m guessing I wasn’t their first choice as a replacement, I was eventually able to capitalize on Stephanie’s misfortune and given the extra ticket for the game! Besides, Natalie needed a responsible adult during this adventure, just in case…..
We drove to Milwaukee and were in line at The Fiserv Forum 30 minutes before the doors opened so we could all receive our much-desired Giannis Antetokounmpo bobble heads being handed out to the first 10,000 people. We got them!
After visiting the pro shop and getting our over-priced drinks and snacks, we sat down and enjoyed the nail-biter of a game that was narrowly won by the 2021 Champions! It made for a perfect adventure for the girls!
