Enjoyed a Thanksgiving getaway in Mexico! Spent the week in Playa del Carmen and took a few trips out to Selvatica extreme zip lining and also saw JOYÀ, the first Cirque du Soleil resident show in Mexico. It was an amazing event that combines culinary and performing arts in an intimate theater setting to engage the audience’s five senses. Drawing on Mexico’s history and heritage, JOYÀ tells the story of an alchemist and his granddaughter embarking on a quest to uncover the secrets of life. We were fortunate enough to have the very front center dinner seats and at times the performers were literally inches away from us.
We otherwise spent the majority of time at our resort, enjoying the pool and meeting many wonderful people while relaxing in the sun.
