We returned from an extended weekend getaway and witnessed some wonderful shows on Broadway. Home – at The Todd Haimes Theater, Hell’s Kitchen at The Shubert, and The Great Gatsby at The Broadway Theater. The last two were our favorites and we were very fortunate to see Hell’s Kitchen spectacular stars Maleah Joi Moon, and Kecia Lewis on stage as they both won Tony’s the day after we saw the show! This is a collection of a few of our photos taken on the streets of Manhattan over the weekend. Times Square was crazy busy as usual and there isn’t a better place in the world to experience humanity within a city setting. Finally, I feel as though I need to address the stark reality of the ever-present homeless population in downtown NYC. While I never strive to photograph people in despair, it is oftentimes difficult to escape when it’s seemingly everywhere.
