Lukas had his first experience with deer hunting this weekend…..his Dad is really not interested. Luke and Grandpa were up at 5:00 AM on Saturday and dressed to the hilt in their stylish orange outerwear in the frigid morning cold. They set up watch in our back woods and after much sitting and sitting and more sitting in trees they gave up…….. Grandpa decided to walk home for a sandwich only to find this doe standing right in the front yard. Next time, I think Grandpa should put on his bath robe, light the fireplace and sit by his back window instead of sitting for all those hours in a tree. I doubt that will happen. Congratulations!
