I got home this evening and while tending to the chicken, I noticed that the recent blizzard blew off the top of one of my hives. Unfortunately, the bees have frozen, but I pulled the top honey laden super off the hive and set it in the sunroom to be thawed. I think I might have another “crop” of honey to extract soon!
