Spring at Steinthal is finally here! At least it seems the general trend is heading in that direction!  We can feel it and hear it!  The warm weather has nearly melted the snow at Steinthal,  although we still have 5 foot piles arranged around the driveway from the frequent and seemingly never ending plowing that occurred during the winter months.  The chickens are finally un-cooped and free to range about and today we heard the geese and sandhill cranes enjoying the unfrozen mill pond on the property.
