We had the luxury of spending an extended weekend away in Chicago! It was a great getaway for us, with time to enjoy live music, great restaurants, and shopping away from home. Had brunch with my daughter and her husband and even got a glimpse of the Chicago Marathon on Sunday. I lived in Chicago for 5 years of my life, but find I enjoy it more and more as time goes on. We’re definitely looking forward to more time there in the very near future!
