We were up before dawn and on the road by 5:00 AM as we start our ride east towards Storm Lake. Boyhood home of my father, this city brings back a sense of belonging for me even though I have spent little time there in the past. It’s a beautiful place and I remember thinking how I wish I would have experienced it more when I was younger.
