We did it! Thirteen years ago I was devastated and felt I would never be able to trust another person in my life again. After years of personal unhappiness and unwillingness to let someone into my life, this beautiful, fun-loving individual appeared before me and opened up another chapter of my life. Her enduring patience and love for the last seven years proved me wrong about the jaded perceptions I had and January 20, 2022 became one of the happiest days of my life as I was honored to call her my wife. Sometimes we have to be broken down so that we can be rebuilt into what we’re actually meant to be and I am finally whole now thanks to God’s wonderful gift to me. She will always amaze me and make me smile.
Our wedding took place in beautiful Antigua with so many wonderful and funny stories to share. Also in attendance were two other couples that had the courage to make the trip with us despite all the COVID precautions and regulations. For those that couldn’t attend, we celebrated our wedding with an epic reception at The Sheboygan Yacht Club on February 5th.
